Pioneer Day in Utah County – Everything You Need To Know

July 23rd, 2018

Pioneer Day is just around the corner! We love Pioneer Day here in Utah County. All over the
county there will be celebrations, events, food, parades, and of course, fireworks. It is one of the
most exciting holidays of the year! Here are all the big events happening for the 24th so your
family doesn’t miss out on all of the fun!

Spanish Fork
You could probably spend the entire 24th in Spanish Fork and never get bored. Smack dab in
the middle of Fiesta Days, Pioneer Day is the crown jewel of the city celebration.

1. Fiesta Days Rodeo

The Fiesta Days Rodeo has been going on for decades. Watching these
champions compete is fun for the whole family! Even if you have never been to a
rodeo before, you won’t want to miss it! The rodeo is happening at 7:00 PM, July
20th – 24th, excluding Sunday. For ticket information, click here.

2. Grand Parade and Entertainment in the Park

Who doesn’t love a good parade? The Fiesta Days grand parade will start at 9:00
AM and will run down Center and Main street. Immediately following the parade
there will be live entertainment at City Park, behind the Library. Plenty of food
vendors will be there too!

3. Carnival

Brown’s Amusements Carnival is located in the City Office Parking lot and is a
sight to see! Large thrill rides and carnival games aplenty will be running from
10:00 AM – 11:00 PM. The carnival will be running from July 20th – 24th,
excluding Sunday.

4. Fireworks

What would a community celebration be without fireworks? Pack up some
blankets and come down to the sports park. There will be live entertainment
starting at 7:00 PM, and the fireworks will start at approximately 10:30 PM. If your
family is going to the rodeo, don’t worry! You will still be able to see the fireworks!
